In July of 2004, Ana Lerario opened Fiftytwo showroom’s beautiful loft doors and established a welcoming and creative space.  A forum in which designers can be fully represented, not only by the product they make, but also by the concept behind each brand.  As the showroom distinguished itself as a premiere multi-brand destination and continued to flourish, Fiftytwo took on a partner and shareholder with Cotia – building out and cementing the financial backbone of the business.

Throughout the years, Fiftytwo has fostered the development of collections ranging from CFDA incubator finalists, to international industry darlings looking to expand into new markets.  In doing so, Fiftytwo have assembled a dynamic roster of complementary collections that tell a fresh story with every season, and realized a desired destination for buyers and press worldwide.

 

52Lab.

In 2022, Fiftytwo officially launched a unique project named 52Lab, a premium service that will build upon the features already provided to our current brands.  52Lab is a meticulously specialized ‘brand development’ project that will strengthen our sales operation by adding ‘buy-side’ knowledge and expertise to the construction of each seasonal collection for participating brands.

The project will be led in conjunction with experienced industry insiders, that will collaborate with our brands to achieve a balanced and desirable assortment with each new collection launch.  For this first year we have contracted with industry veteran Lizzie Leventhal, who’s credentials include her time as the RTW GMM at Moda Operandi. Together, Lizzie and sales directors will analyze all brand assets, and pair her wealth of buy-side experience with our in-depth brand knowledge to offer unique insights into what steps can be taken to maximize sales and promote partnerships.
